Which means that the sectors and tracks won't match what you
really want. 

(Not counting that it can't write the RX02 double density data 
with single density sector header format.)

If you can find the linux device for 128 byte sectors, 26 per track,
and single density, then you should be able to write an RX01 format
floppy, even though it is on a 3.5inch disk. (That is, it could
be read on a 3.5 inch drive attached to an LSI-11, for example.)
