Which can really bring up a controversy.

Once we had 2 children, my ex wife and I stayed together until the children were 
raised and on their own.  If not for the children, I doubt this would have 
happened.  Once they existed, we had a commitment, whether we wanted it or not. 
  And we honored it.

I'm all in favor of people being "allowed" to have children, and some 
commitments they must make to do so.  If you don't like that, then shoot me.
