Sorry, I don't know what got into me ;-)

Truthfully, I love Canada. Most of the (American) people I know think of
Canadians like family. I have enjoyed every visit I've made to Canada,
and I've spent time in Halifax, Toronto, Quebec and Vancouver and seen
some of the wilderness between. I was supposed to go to Calgary but the
trip got cancelled. Maybe someday I'll make it there.

When I vacation in Mexico, it seems like I meet more Canadians than any
other nationality. Some have become good friends. Most have seen more of
the US than many of us who live here.

Wherever I've gone in the world I find that people are not so different.
Different views about how some things should work, and there are good
people and bad people everywhere, but the good people want the same
basic things out of life.

It's unfortunate that we seem to concentrate on our differences and
ignore our similarities.
