You've got me on that one. This is hearsay, after all - just
read the review, not the book. Now you're going to make me
go back and find who the reviewer is and what the name of
the book is.
However, it fits in completely with my observations of how
quickly the opposite side wants to put words in my mouth and
tell me how evil the opinions they think I have are.
Watching TV at my McDonald's (fast food) the other night.
They have small sets in the booths, and at the time were
tuned 50-50 between Fox and CNN. A belligerent drunk comes
in and starts harassing the person at the booth next to me
about Fox News. Incendiary words, kind of like Mr. Munks',
perhaps, trying to get a rise out of someone. We ignore
him and he goes away, although we could easily have had
him thrown out.
For all I know, the guy in the booth was there because
he wanted to eat his sandwich.
Oddly enough a week or two later they shifted to CNN only.
George
