It appears that SEA was replaced with WSEA, which is a licensed product and no longer available. Flavor of the month is Insight Remote Support, which is only available to sites that have a paid HP maintenance contract. Soo... How does one translate an event log entry at a site which has maintenance through a third-party (not HP support)? Other than transferring the event log to a site that does use HP, that is.

If you are paying the 3rd party for hardware support then it's their problem (otherwise what are you paying for?).
HP are increasingly protective of their IP in support tools and try to ensure only customers with HP hardware support contracts get them.
