Actually, I was trying to segue to or rather contrast will the "Digital is a
software company" of yore.
Personally I think "Apple is a bunch of bastards" especially re Java and
Flash, but when you look at Microsoft, Google, and Oracle I guess this whole
industry is fatherless.
Does the App Store and iTunes need the MacBook and iPhone more than they
need a closed market? Who knows/cares?
