The 'rm' tool seems to be able to eat any type of file.

Well you were the one that used "eat".

DSR syntax is very close to troff syntax, such that it should not be 
hard to create a tool that by the correct order of repetitive global 
replacements you can get the job done.

Somewhere I should have a TPU script that does most of the work in 
converting Unix man files to .rno and .rnh format.  The big problem with 
going the other way is that the .rnh topic titles needed to be unique.
