I guess some sort of sql capability is a generic requirement these days, but
would think that it would be a separate entity, rather than being integrated
into the file systems itself. Sounds like the right approach, as you may
need
improved sql capabilities in the future, while keeping the low level
interfaces
to storage the same.
One of the things DEC were famous for - the concept of layered products
:-)...
