So I'm learning.  I've always been dismissive of certifications.  The 
thing is, w/o work experience in new areas, I have no way to move ahead.  
So I'm going to start working on a RedHat cert next week.  It has its 
uses, I hope.

I like C and Fortran and VMS and DCL and such, but that's not 
forward-looking.
