I originally had no qualm paying the ridiculous price for the mounting
bracket and screws, but the lack of *all* the necessary screws was most
unnerving.

Apparently, this is the case. I refused to cower to their demands of
$37.00 for 4 screws and I purchased a lot of 50 (minimum purchase) of
them for about $6 -- WITH SHIPPING! (USPS) -- from another source.
All Hopelessly Pathetic did was demand -- about a half dozen times --
that I provide them with the Envy's model number, serial number, date
of purchase and my name, email, address and phone number. Why any of
that had any bearing on the lack of screws in a completely disparate
Hopelessly Pathetic purchase is beyond my comprehension. It just as
well could have been an automated response every time I'd contacted
Hopelessly Pathetic. It's shades of deja vu back to my rx2600 rack
mount kit purchase dilemma. At least, when I inquired about my Envy
parts, they didn't ask what model of Presario I had. ;) I suppose I
should count that as a Hopelessly Pathetic improvement.
