Well, like I said, after being advised to put up some stuff I had
on eBay (trying to raise a little scratch to support my classic
computer hobby) I tried it. I put up an item selling currently at
any number of resellers for over $500. An $11 bid would have
taken it. I got 0 bids. Afterwards when I asked WTF? I was
told by the same people who recommended taking my stuff to eBay
that because I wasn't "an established seller" no one was going to
bid on my stuff. WTF?

I no longer offer anything for sale on eBay and do not buy anything
that involves an "auction". I think eBay is crooked and happily take
my money elsewhere. The only exception turns out to be a Chinese
company that sells electronics components like EPROMS. And I don't
bid for them.
