Steve!
I really blew it this time! There is a bug in IE8 wherein if I press
Alt+Spacebar to get the System Menu, it hangs. So I tried killing that
window with Task Manager (TM), clicked "End Session", tried to move
the TM out off of the End Session box to see what happened, and got a
blank white area (a sure sign of trouble!) and my entire Windows
session hung! And I'm working from home today over VPN with RDC. Nice.
Well, I tried killing iexplore.exe from Task Manager (which is the
only thing still working) and lucked out. I don't have to reboot from
home, now!
You see now why there are no "unexpected errors" for me. A continual
stream of errors. Ah, that's life.
