Alan, could you please explain what you mean by "oozing tabs"?
At what version of FF did you first encounter them?  

And more importantly, what was your fix???

I'm on FF 8.0.1 but on the verge of going to 9.0.1.  I happen
to *like* tabbed browsing, but I keep it down to about 3-5 tabs...
If the oozing comes with FF9, I'd like to kill it as soon as
it appears. ;-}
