[Info-vax] puzzled by DCL symbol substitution

   Years ago, in an attempt to offload our 11/780 from too many DCL
   "programmers", I moved the prolog comments to the epilog, preceeded
   by an unconditional $EXIT, in the hopes that DCL at least sometimes
   wouldn't have to parse all those comment lines.

   Since I got my first Alpha, I haven't bothered.
