OSF/1 wasn't limited to DECsystems or DECstations (=MIPS-based).
The first "wave" of Alphas i.e. the DEC3000, DEC4000 and DEC7000 did run 
OSF/1. I think the DEC2000 series did as well.
Maybe even the first AlphaServers (2000, 2100) and AlphaStations (200) 
did run OSF/1 - I'm not quite sure about that, but I can check it out if 
you want to know.
