   OSF/1 first shipped from DEC on Alpha.  Those of us using Ultrix-MIPS
   were told OSF/1 was coming.  DEC canceled OSF/1 on MIPS for us, but
   at the time was not allowed to ship Alpha to China, so I think they
   did do OSF/1 for MIPS for Chinese customers.
