There is no need for an IF statement in that last sentence. We all owe
Mr Hoff a lot of gratutude not only because he was a VMS engineer, but
also because he has helped a lot of people over the years on c.o.v. even
if he doesn't post directly.

And I suspect he is the one did did the covert port of VMS to the 8086
in his spare time while pretending to exercise in ZKO's basement :-)


(cue in quick denial that VMS was ever ported to that platform)



I wouldn't be surprised if Hoff had VMS booted on a macintosh computer. :-)
