The WPS keyboards originated on a PDP8 based workstation called the
DECMATE from Digital Equipment Corporation DEC. The All-IN-ONE
application used a similar keyboard and could be found on VMS based VT
type Terminals and later PS2 Variants of the Keyboard were made for PC's
from DEC and later Compaq when the two companies merged in 1998.
The DEC pc's had model names like Venturis and Centuris, and of course
Compaq has the DeskPro PCs for business users.
