:)  John, you made me smile and tonight I needed that.  Although C is
my most proficient language, at times I agree with many others that
ALL C is disgusting.  ...yet I have earned a decent living with VMS C
for almost 3 decades while working from home, and being able to travel
and even meet some of the VMS diaspora around the world.

As odd as it sounds, I may even increase my client base this year and
put VMS into new business sites that want a black box solution that
WORKS!
