I took some advice from some posts on the Mac newsgroups several years
ago and I had a good run with a specific type of Verbatim discs. I cannot
remember what the name was now, but couldn't find them the last time I
looked.

However I use them seldom nowadays. I use virtual machines wherever
possible, and that means you don't need to burn so many discs.
