No. On the version of TCP/IP you are running, you can create a file
called {username}.dis in the SMTP system directory containing a list of
email addresses a incoming email should be forwarded to when {username}
is sent a email. As of V5.6 ECO 5, this works just fine as I have it
in production use.

The details are in the TCP/IP documentation. (I don't have a reference
to hand as I am not at work.)

If you use this option, be sure to remove the MAIL level SET FORWARD
redirection first.

I will say that I am a bit surprised that something this basic has been
broken. Are you sure that there isn't, say, a problem with the target
mailbox file structure ($ anal/rms to check) or a subtle syntax problem ?

(If you are using SET FORWARD in a supported way and it really has been
broken in V5.7, then that's a _major_ concern.)
