You did _what_, exactly, and _what_, exactly, happened?
Showing actual commands with their actual output can be more
helpful than vague descriptions or interpretations.

You might try a command like:
backup vms073lp.bck /save_set dua2:[*...]
or something else with "..." in a directory specification.
