Later this year, and subject to confirmation of their actual
condition, I will be disposing of an AlphaStation 250 [1] (21064, VMS-
capable) and a PC164SX motherboard in enclosure (hi Marc)(21164, will
run Tru64, Linux, etc, but PC164SX cannot run VMS). Maybe even some
VAXstation/MicroVAX kit too - MicroVAX 2000?, VAXstation 3100 (M40?
with matching SCSI expansion), again subject to audit.
Also a nice early laptop, a DIGITAL HiNote Ultra 2000 [2]. Allegedly
capable of running XP (licence required), but Linux might be more
sensible.
If anybody wants the lot, fine, but I'm happy to split too. Prefer
good home, rather than auction. I need the space. Boxes currently in
Birmingham, UK, but I frequently travel to Reading and would be happy
to meet up along the way somewhere. These are heavy (or fragile, or
both) and would need serious packing so courier/freight may not be
attractive (though maybe not quite so bad with the PC164SX or the
HiNote).
For enthusiasts of a slightly different kind, I will probably also be
disposing of a Solartron CD1014 true dual beam semi-portable valve
oscilloscope, shortly before its 50th birthday. Mostly working when
last used by me several years ago. Similar to

Have a lot of fun.
