It looks like your box tries to deliver directly to the gmail servers
but something goes wrong in the handshaking. If you enable more
logging/tracing (the logicals that I wrote about in another post),
you will also see what is going wrong.

It will not solve anything, but you will see it. :-)

The solution is probably to set it up using "alternate gateway" to route
your mails to a smtp server that will accept mails from TCPIP Services.
