There may be much criticism of LaCarly. But one of the things/buzzwords
she got right was the commoditisation of servers.

The problem is that not all servers have become commodities. When you
need to build a complex data centre solution involving blades or
superdomes, you would still want direct contact with an HP homanoid.
The disapearance of local offices makes this harder.
