If you mean node A boots from disk X, node B boots from disk Y, and
then X and Y form a shadow set, I think not.
You'ld have to get node B to boot from served disk X, then form the
shadow set with X and Y. There's no provision to merge the different
changes that would happen to X and Y if you booted A from X and B from
Y. You have to get A and B to make their boot time changes on X, then
merge in Y.
