...but is that "support"?  Unless there is feedback from and resolution to
issues reported through this mechanism, it might has well be sending email
to the absolute elsewhere.

FWIW, I've gone through the formal channels for three bugs that still have
not been resolved/fixed.  One has caused me to have to kludge a workaround
in my code because of a day-one bug in Itanium code.
