Google is nothing new and innovative, just recycling existing ideas
and marketing it in a certain way.  DEC never had to 'rely' on its
marketing.  DEC also never obsessed with invading one's privacy.

I find it almost insulting how you compare a pushy, hipster, company
and 'brand' like Google with DEC, which was almost a polar opposite
of it.
