There are 2 "locks".

Looking at the hinged door, with the hinge on your right, there is a
small rectangular hole on the left of the door with a white thing in it.
You need to shift this to the left (away from door).

The second one on on the bottom of the TK50 , next to the screw that is
right at the corner. Again there is a white tab inside. This needs to be
shifted away from the side where there is the label.

With both of those done, then the wheel will rotate freely. Tweezers do
a fine job of moving those tabs to unlock, the trick is to get them to
be solid enough to stay while you rewind the tape manually.

Another option is to open the TK50 drive itself, and manually load the
tape into it and as the tape has been taken into the second spool, you
move the cartridge in.

When you power up, the TK50 does an automatic rewind and your tape will
go back into the TK50, ready to be unloaded.
