The TZ30 is media compatible with the TK50, but it's a different design.

Yes, you learn from your mistakes. But this is such a glaring one that 
they should have thought about it even before introduction.

It's kindof similar to the early Mac machines not having an eject button 
for the floppy. However, those machines at least sorted them self out if 
power cycled, not to mention that a floppy inherently is more integrally 
intact than a tape the whole time.

Introducing the tiny hole, and a bent paper clip... :-)
