   On the bright side, I still have VMS V7.3-2 on a disk on
my spare/experimental XP1000, and, after adjusting the
AppleTalk configuration to use the new gigabit Ethernet
interface, and the shared-volume data to accommodate the new
SCSI adapter, the Chooser on the old PowerBook could find
"Mac Volume 2" on "DECshare on ALP2", just as in the old
days.
