I wasn't asking about software packages. I was asking about things that
can be done by writing software to do them.
No, I never used Message Router, but I have written several messaging
systems. One used a disk file to insure data could not be lost. The
other was an implementation of the RSTS/E messaging that I implemented
on VMS using mailboxes. I've also used socket communications for
messaging. It can be done. It's not rocket science.
Speaking of messaging, I now have need of a simple process to process
async message software on VMS. Before I re-invent the wheel, anyone
have anything to perform such?
