Just a note: The shadow set created from the system disk is done at the
sysgen level very early in the boot, not via mount commands.

When when/if you wish to revert the system disk to a normal device,
you'll have to look at sysgen parameters that control volume shadowing
for the system disk. ( I don't know the parameter names by heart alas).
