End of the world stuff:

A tropical storm that brings tonnes of snow to west virginia hills.


I hear (but have not seen proof) that the NYSE's trading floor is under
water.

A couple days ago there was a major 7.7 earthquake on the canadian west
coast (with an accompanying mini tsunami that didn't realy cause damage)
and tonight, 2 more earthquakes on 6.5 the other 5.0 also on queen
charlotte island.

I was under the impression that the end of the mayan calendar/world
would come abruptly without advance signs with the final ALT-CTRL-DEL
done on the universe simulation. But it appears that it may be some bug
in the simulation that introduces worse and worse scenarios until it all
falls apart on (I am told) December 21st.

perhap the similation will have wrongly accessed Hollywood disaster
movie archives and wil implement all those scenarios at once :-)

Towering Inferno, Bee Movies, the birds, Earthquake, mars Attacks,
Superstorm,  Posseidon, War of the Worlds, The Core, The Day After
Tomorrow, Aliens. And upon trying to implement 2012, a movie about the
end of the world, the simulation will enter into a self-reference
infinite loop and blow its stack with big crash dump :-)


What if the universe now runs on VMS/Itanium, and December 21 is the day
HP announces the end of life of Itanium/VMS and the whole simulation
shuts down upon hearing the news ? :-)
