The Pathworks 32 CD had an "unsupported" directory of utilities. Among these was the DOS command line NFT utility. One feature was the ability to use NFT/SUBMIT to start a batch job on a remote system. You did have to have a valid Pathworks Client Access license. Later versions of Microsoft Windows and multi core workstations created issues for the Pathworks 32 client.
