$PAGEDEF doesn't help in any way with variable page sizing on Alpha or on
Itanium.  That information should be obtained from MMG$G{L/Q)_PAGE_SIZE or
from its MMG brethren such as MMG$G{L/Q}_BWP_MASK or MMG$G{L/Q}_BWP_WIDTH.
