Mark Berryman has an unreleased port that depends on CRTL changes that 
have also not been released yet.  When there is a generally available 
beta kit, it will likely depend on VMS v8.4 plus patches.  If you want 
to be an extremely early adopter, write to OpenSource.OpenVMS AT hp DOT 
com and request the CRTL test images that enable PostgreSQL support.  
Then track Mark down (he's posted in this n.g. quite a bit in the past) 
and see if he's willing to give you a pointer to a PostgreSQL kit.

Or just wait a bit as things are moving along steadily.
