Depends upon which Unix. It's lightyears ahead of SysVR2 and 3.
It's more reliable than Solaris 2.x.
Unix is not an OS -- it's a family of OS's.
Unfortunately, Windows 7 and server 2003 has exceeded or surpassed
the Unix versions above.
Hell... both Win7 and Linux have surpassed VAX/VMS below 3.5 in my
opinion.
