Are you obtaining software updates through the Educational License 
program, so that you at least have the latest available version of the 
compiler?

Are you running on Alpha or on Integrity?

The Software Product Description for HP Fortran is at 
http://h71000.www7.hp.com/doc/spdfortran.pdf and describes what 
standards the Fortran compiler supports.
