Success: I now have gcc built as a cross compiler on Linux and it is
outputting simple executable which run on VMS:
$ sh sys/noproc
OpenVMS V8.3 on node EISNER 24-APR-2013 02:38:50.85 Uptime 36 11:11:53
$ r hello.exe
Hello world
:-)
I probably will not be spending much more time on this so this is as far
as I am likely to go.
