Yes, maybe. These in-house apps would *probably* be replaced
by some MES ("Manufacturing Execution System") such as those
from Honeywell, Siemens or similar. I think "Replace" is a
better term.

Now, it is an adventure to replace what has been adopted
and trimmed to the organisation för 30 yaers with some
"boxed" standard system, of course... :-)

Some parts of the current system might move up into the
ERP (JDE) and other parts would be replaced by the MES.
