I think the translation is fairly correct. The mail just says:
"...will be replaced by other plattforms". Nothing else.

I think that we over here thinks about "migration" a bit like "port".
That is, instead of "replace". So, if you simply replace your OpenVMS
systems with something else, you do not have to "migrate" anything.

But yes, I also noticed that "might"... :-)

Actualy, i just tried to run the mail thought "Google Translate"
and, at least to my ears, it sounds pretty OK:
