HO has trold shareholders that BCS is going down the drain. Announcing a
program to help those BCS customers stick with HP would have been good.

Then again, since BCS has been going down the drain for a few years
already and since HP has done nothing to retain those customers, perhaps
it sees no need to start now.

Other side of coin: while sales of new systems have tanked in last few
years, it does not necessarily mean massive loss of existing customers
who could still be convicned to mograte to new HP platforms with the
right incentives.
