Right. It's exactly what the roadmap of May 2013 said (says, as it
hasn't been updated) and what the letter in June said.
However, the new letter says, "HP will extend Standard Support for
OpenVMS V8.4 for Integrity i2 systems through 2020." That sure makes it
sound like you have to be running a 9300-based i2 system (e.g. rx2800)
to get support. It's hard to say whether those of us on 9100-based
systems would just be paying PVS prices for SS, or whether patches would
no longer be qualified on pre-i2 hardware and the choices are to buy new
hardware or run without support.
