You can supposedly get an office friendly kit for the rx2660, which I've no 
experience of using. Without the office friendly kit, I can tell you that 
you don't want one in the same room as yourself. They are definitely rack 
mount data centre kit where noise doesn't matter.

If you do get an rx2660 for stand-alone use, try to get the rx2660 specific 
p400 array controller with battery backed write-back cache.
