It's a bit hard to say "how loud is 70 dBA".
Here are some examples what "the net" says about 70 dBA:
"Vacuum cleaner, distance 1 m"
"Average radio, normal street noise"
"Fortissimo Singer, 3'"
"Passenger car at 65 mph at 25 ft (77 dB)"
"Freeway at 50 ft from pavement edge 10 a.m. (76 dB)"
"Living room music (76 dB)"
"Radio or TV-audio, vacuum cleaner (70 dB)"
"The level of normal conversation (not too loud)"
