I long ago formed the conclusion that Philip's goal was to have 
complexity for the sake of complexity.  I've never seen anything that 
he's written that indicated having a cluster served any purpose, other 
than having one just because he could.

But that's Ok.  If it amuses him to form and operate a cluster, he 
should be free to do so.

VMS has many capabilities that I've never felt the need to use.  Mirror 
disks.  RAID.  DECnet V.
