Similar memories of rebuilding a 4.3bsd kernel on a vax 730 with
3Mb memory. Took over 3 days, with me praying that the power didn't
fail :-).

The script is a bit odd, in that the original file names are of the
form: Pxxxxxx.JPG (where xxxxxx are numbers) and I wanted a numeric
only filename. I know it's a unix example, but it should be easy to
translate into dcl...
