   Has anyone a handy usage example for SYS$SET_DEVICE()?  As
I read the HP OpenVMS System Services Reference Manual, it's
all exactly like SYS$GETDVI (which I _can_ get to work), but
that makes little sense to me, as the information flow is in
the opposite direction.  I had some dim hope of setting a
volume label from a C program, but so far all I've gotten out
of SYS$SET_DEVICE() is "%SYSTEM-F-BADPARAM, bad parameter
value".  I assume that that's all my fault, but it doesn't
tell me what I need to know.
