If you have another system to monitor your OpenVMS machine, you can
use a tool like Nagios to monitor it over the network, or a console
management product (like the old polycenter console manager now sold
to Computer Associates) to monitor its console line. If you have a
whole OpenVMS environment (as opposed to just one machine) then you
can use OpenVMS Cockpit Manager. Some info, probably not entirely
